Variations
(2014)
I am interested about objects that reveal women’s identity. This project came from an archive of photographed purses from different women .Through this series of paintings and drawings I portray how this object works as an extension of women’s body, and it makes possible the portability of th everyday life. Each purse has different skin, keeps secrets, stories and identities. Its contents, as well as its style describes the owner’s personality.
